After 6 months, I finally downloaded the pics from my camera. I have a heap of stuff there, but most of it will probably be backup’d and archived as I don’t have to much time to work on my photography. I did have this photo which I found, i took this sometime in October 2007 I think. This is somewhere in Auckland - probably Mission Bay. I there were few raindrops on the lens so the original size file is a bit messier but here’s the latest offering for a while.
This rainbow was shot outside my apartment a couple of days ago during sunset. I’ll have more photos posted shortly - I just got back from a mini-roadtrip to Port Waikato.
Before you northern hemispherites get a bent nose about the title, we are actually have summer solstice on Dec 21 (opposite seasons). I was quite lucky to catch this rainbow. I had the messenger go off on my laptop - which was on my sofa next to my window. I was cooking dinner and when I went to my laptop - i saw this massive rainbow outside my window.
I haven’t got out much lately. Maybe around the chrissy holidays I’ll do another shoot. This is a quick snapshot i took during sunset friday night. Just happened to catch a rainbow. I happen to think my view here is a great screensaver, I never get tired of it!
